This will be looked into by Owners and we will find who did it. In the meantime, we have the usual options. If there is a recent backup of the world, then we can restore it to that as soon as possible. Otherwise some other owners and admins can help me clean up the mess. OR it is possible that MC1 can become temp survival/hardcore until we either fix the mess or if Banana chooses to use his server for MC2. MC1 will be down temporarily in order to fix this issue.
http://arcator.co.uk/blog/pigboy501/well-shit#comments Wed, 26 Jun 2013 02:53:06 +0000 Pigboy501 6425 at http://arcator.co.uk And we're back http://arcator.co.uk/blog/pigboy501/and-were-back
Arcator MC1 has been updated to 1.5.2 and playing can resume. A revitalized RPG MC2 is also currently being worked on and will be available to play in the coming days/weeks/months/years. Therefore, I am officially declaring the activation of Code Yellow A.K.A Spam the fuck out of him to update MC1 and post the link to download the old world.
http://arcator.co.uk/blog/pigboy501/152#comments Sat, 11 May 2013 21:13:35 +0000 Pigboy501 4770 at http://arcator.co.uk Spawn Grief http://arcator.co.uk/blog/pigboy501/spawn-grief
<del>As some may or may not have noticed, MC1 is offline for the time being.</del> This is due to the large spawn grief perpetrated by none other than previous staff members rewt64 and Wolftz9000 (possibly more info to come). <del>I'm sure we have backups, so until Banana937, MalHT, or fela can get them sorted out, MC1 will be temporarily offline. Thank you for your patience.</del>

EDIT:
Well it seems we're keeping MC1 online for some reason, so I just set up a temporary spawn at the building area. Also as it turns out, we don't have any backups or world edit snapshots, so we will be making a new world shortly. MC1 will stay online until we get a new world up and running. We should be able to set up multiverse and copy and paste some builds people might have been working on at the time to the new world. If you would like your build to be transferred to the new world, please post here with the coordinates of the build and it shall be transferred. If you don't let us know, your build will be not be transferred and you will have to start from scratch, so don't say we didn't warn you.
http://arcator.co.uk/blog/pigboy501/spawn-grief#comments Sun, 17 Feb 2013 16:54:36 +0000 Pigboy501 3630 at http://arcator.co.uk Party's over http://arcator.co.uk/blog/pigboy501/now-rave-thread
Party's over, time to go home and wait another 365.25 years

http://arcator.co.uk/blog/pigboy501/now-rave-thread#comments Wed, 12 Dec 2012 17:35:51 +0000 Pigboy501 3448 at http://arcator.co.uk HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARCATOR http://arcator.co.uk/blog/pigboy501/happy-birthday-arcator

http://arcator.co.uk/blog/pigboy501/happy-birthday-arcator#comments Sat, 10 Nov 2012 23:20:49 +0000 Pigboy501 3391 at http://arcator.co.uk Minecraft 1.4.2 Update! http://arcator.co.uk/blog/pigboy501/minecraft-142-update
Yep, it's that special time of year again that only comes around every few months or so, no vaginal bleeding required. Yes, jeb_ and dinnerbone have cracked open a fresh new version of Minecraft for us all to enjoy, Minecraft 1.4.2! However beware, as the essential plugins Arcator must use to survive are not updated to 1.4.2 yet. Updating to 1.4.2 will make your single player pretty awesome, but you won't be able to play on Arcator until all the plugins we need to run it are updated too. If you wish to remain with Minecraft 1.3.2 so you can play on Arcator, DO NOT PRESS UPDATE! Doing so will make it impossible to play on Arcator unless you downgrade back to 1.3.2 by downloading the minecraft.jar file for version 1.3.2 and replacing it with the minecraft.jar currently in Minecraft's bin folder.

Click this link to download minecraft version 1.3.2: http://assets.minecraft.net/1_3_2/minecraft.jar

If you want a really quick downgrade, use Jacob's Automatic Downgrader - works on the three major platforms and should be sync'd with 1.3.2.

Instructions:
-If you are on Windows, press the windows start button and search for "%APPDATA%". Open ".minecraft", go into "bin", and place the downloaded minecraft.jar into that folder, replacing your current minecraft.jar.

-If you are on Mac, open Finder, open your user's files (it is the choice on the left-hand-side of finder that has a house next to it and says your computer's username). In this folder, go to Library>Application Support>minecraft>bin. Replace minecraft.jar in the bin folder with the downloaded minecraft.jar.

-If you are on Linux, open your distros directory browser, find your users home. Make sure you have show hidden folders on. Go into .minecraft, then go into bin. Replace minecraft.jar in the bin folder with the downloaded minecraft.jar.
Run Minecraft.
http://arcator.co.uk/blog/pigboy501/minecraft-142-update#comments Fri, 26 Oct 2012 00:32:35 +0000 Pigboy501 3347 at http://arcator.co.uk lol how do i admin http://arcator.co.uk/blog/pigboy501/lol-how-do-i-admin
Hello fellow staff members. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on this interesting thing I found the other day on MC1. Essentially, there are these thing called plugins for the server that help us do things we normally would not be able to. And Arcator has lots of these plugins. One of these plugins is called LogBlock, and LogBlock is used to log blocks. Nifty huh? Well aside from logging blocks, it also has this other thing that is like sorta important but like not really I guess. It's called rollback. "What? Rollback? That's not even a word silly head! Poppycock! Quit your hogwash and tomfoolery!" Well its real and regardless of its name, its function is to reverse, or roll back, the blocks that were logged by LogBlock. So obviously, it is unimportant and completely useless. Wait, what's that you say? It does have a use? And its actually really important!? WOW I WOULD NEVER HAVE GUESSED CONSIDERING THE FACT NOBODY EVER USES IT. Seriously guys, if you are a mod, admin, admin+ or owner, pleaseeee don't forget to rollback a player after you ban them for griefing of any sort. I consistently find griefs lying around and to my surprise, were done by players that were already banned by us (local and global). So its really important you don't forget to roll them back and undo any damage they did. Please make sure you are banning people correctly and rolling them back correctly. For reference incase anyone forgot, the general commands are:

/lb rollback player [player's_name] time [minutes|hours|days] (use this one for most rollbacks please)
/lb rollback area [radius] time [minutes|hours|days]
/lb rollback playerarea [player's_name] [radius] time [minutes|hours|days]
/lb rollback selection time [minutes|hours|days] (this one rolls back an area selected by world edit)

YEAH AND THIS STILL EXISTS THOUGH IT PROBABLY NEEDS A MINOR REWRITE
http://arcator.co.uk/blog/pigboy501/lol-how-do-i-admin#comments Sat, 15 Sep 2012 04:05:59 +0000 Pigboy501 3156 at http://arcator.co.uk It's my birthday http://arcator.co.uk/blog/pigboy501/its-my-birthday

That is all.
http://arcator.co.uk/blog/pigboy501/its-my-birthday#comments Sat, 18 Aug 2012 15:45:14 +0000 Pigboy501 3097 at http://arcator.co.uk
