About two weeks ago, MC6's map was griefed, causing the spawn to be lost.

Someone used worldedit to turn the spawn into tnt, redstone blocks, water, lava, and anvils which created about 140,000 entities which explains the problem MC6 had with restarting and crashing repeatedly (spawn is always loaded, so once the server starts, spawn got loaded which crashed the server again thereby repeating the cycle).
I was able to use MCEdit to remove the blocks, however the spawn is still missing and I doubt we can rollback this grief. Normally, we'd use /co rollback on the griefer or /co restore on the builder. But since the spawn was created and griefed with worldedit, it's highly unlikely we'd be able to restore it. The CoreProtect logs also seem so large that any attempt to use them will cause the server to crash but I may be able to try downloading and running MC6 off my machine in order to try rolling the grief back.

We're going to need to consider rebuilding the map (again). All I can suggest is that we follow the original plan when the map was last lost by trying to completely divide and compartmentalize each component of the map that needs work. That being have just one person working on the staff board, others on mines A - F, G - M, etc. We have some users who could become staff to help out so coordinating people will just be the hardest issue.
I'm aware some of you have worked really MC6 and were excited that it was almost ready to go public and I'm sorry this happened. This will be used as an opportunity to make sure that all servers, not just MC1 have backups.

A few changes have been made in response.
Using worldguard, the following have been disabled.
"All explosions, physics for sand & gravel, fire spread, enderman griefing, snowman trails, mobs from destroying paintings and item frames, zombies breaking doors, players receiving explosion damage, mobs besides players being able to trample crops, and fire spawn from lightning."
