MC2's future!
Hey everyone, as you may know, i've been thinking about upgrading MC2, since formulating what things i'd need to decrease lag, i've come to the conclusion on what will decreased the over-all lag, by at least, i'd guess, 40-66%, a new processor.
So, to pay for the processor, i'd need donations, and since i'm planning on having MC2 around as long as there's a steady player-base, i'm going to allow donations into a paypal account, specifically made for donations, and nothing else.

Well, to Bananan, of course I understand, although I find it pointless we still keep MC3, around, like on the network atm, since it's been gone a month+ now. An the return time's currently undetermined.

By the way, you do know that you probably cannot upgrade your CPU without buying a whole new computer? This is due to the way OEMs design PCs. If you want upgrades like that, build it yourself from scratch.
If you want to keep the current machine, I advise getting 2GB of RAM for it. It'll make things a lot faster if the swap is being used at all at the moment.

What about the heat - you looked into that? A dual core Athlon will output a whole lot more heat than a Sempron.

I'll show my mom that. I'm sure it'll change her mind a tiny bit. I also just brought my Spanish grade up to a C, so if I can get it to a B+, MC3 will probably, probably, go back up.
