MC3 is now 1.2.4!
MC3 has just recently been updated to the current version of Minecraft! (1.2.4) As you know MC3 is a factions server, and the new version update is featuring a brand new map / world. The server is running on a beta build, which simply means there are most likely to be bugs and glitches.
As for MC1, the 1.2.3 update was just about go public again, but then 1.2.4 came out. This update will take a little longer, and the server will most likely be running 1.2.4 in about five to eight days. But as for now, MC1 is running 1.2.3.

1.1 to 1.2
An attempt to update to Minecraft 1.2.3 has been taken, and Arcator has run into just a few problems:
It's simply this: Plugins are not yet updated. Most notably, MCBans, which the network cannot run without. The server is currently whitelisted to only staff members. The world is absolutely fine, but Arcator cannot run safely without MCBans installed. For more information, click here.

As Arcator had just begun to realize that she had been visiting less and less often, she confirmed her resignation today. NinjaGirlx confirmed today that she would be leaving Arcator, for many various reasons that she explained in her post. Not only was she a vital part of the Admin+ Team, she was a great friend to many of the people here at Arcator. Best wishes to NinjaGirlx with whatever she decides to do with the rest of her life.

Arcator is back! Arcator has now officially recovered from the February 2012 scandal and is hoping to put this whole thing behind us. The white-list has been removed and MC1 is now officially public again! The future of all other servers is yet to be decided so keep your pants on. Some significant changes in MC1 include:
- Flatgrass - an area specifically designed for those amazing pixel art creations, with flat land that is constantly expanded.
- Building Area - an area great for newbies to create their first homes, as well as creations like roller coasters.
- Outer Spawn - a ring around Inner Spawn that only players with the Builder rank can build in.
- Thonova - a quaint city/town for Builders and above to make very pretty buildings and houses. It is located right outside Inner Spawn.
- Sports Centre - a complex of arenas that include four "Minecraft Sports". They are an Archery Range, PVP Arena, Spleef Arena, and an Aquatic PVP Arena. This whole complex was designed and built by The_Untitled1.
