Bug: X-ray
I found a bug that would put MC2 at risk.
A X-ray glitch
Here is the Youtube link showing out it is done.

Youtube gave me a REALLY long URL so i had to bit.ly it
I have no idea how this would be stopped from people doing it on MC2 (When MC2 is Un-White-listed)
This could be a threat
This isn't an xray, its merely a difficult to use cave finder. This is what etho uses in his lets plays to find caves. And about stoping other xrays... something like orbfuscator, or anticheat's xray statistics would greatly help, even simple logblock would help a little but admins would have to be on top of every player, which isn't always possible.

Considering I'm not an incompetent buffoon, I have Orbfuscator. I would require SpoutCraft to block X-Ray Texture Packs, but that would turn a lot of people off.

I'm pretty sure orbfuscator blocks x-ray texture packs from being useful at all.

How so? Because a server plugin can't block a client from using retextures of a game.
Here's another way: you can make it compulsory to have a certain Texture pack installed, such as Sphax x64 (example only), but you have to leave a link in the auto kick message to the required TP.
Plugins like Anti-cheat will stop most attempts at x-ray.

No, X-ray texture packs don't allow you to see the ores, it just helps you find caves by making all lit blocks invisible, thus allowing you to see lava/caves (to an extent).

Unless, of course, that plugin is Spout.

That's essentially what SpoutCraft does.

Orbfuscator shows all unlit blocks as ores, meaning that all stone would look like diamond or another random ore. It does not block people from using xray or using an xray texture pack, but it renders them useless.

Actually, you may have a point. Despite the fact that I'm fairly positive xray texture packs still work with ore obfuscators, I can't come up with a counterargument. YOU WIN THIS TIME, DWESON!
In 1 server I use Xray

Or you could use an X-ray texture pack. Or an X-ray mod. There are many ways to X-ray, unfortunately it is near impossible to stop without monitoring players.
