We used it as a crying face b/c that one was the best. Doesn't matter if it meant "Cute". Its crying, right? Okay, then we used it for sadness.

That's like using a meme improperly and then saying, "Well it looks like it could've been for this, so I used it for that."
And look at the face, it's clearly not sad.
EDIT: Also, this face would've been so much better (really large, so I didn't embed it). If you use this site for rage comics, your comics will be better, because you can find a face by category. If you need a sad face, you can click Sad, instead of accidentally using a face that's clearly happy.
