Hi, its me, and I just want to put some things out here, so everyone can see it. Its a lot of complaining, but it needs to be said. I consider each of you people out there my friend. Some I like more then others, and that can become apparent at times, obviously. But I feel MC3 is really not helping me maintain a good relationship with my other staff members, and its hurting the trust we have in each other. Some people will take arguments too harshly, and I'm sure some of you saw what happened to me when it happened today. So, I'm going to make 2 statements about what I want to happen with me, and with MC3.

1) [Removed because after reading it, it all sounded pretty stupid]

2) MC3 is going to be Kyle-less. Its pretty apparent about 95% of the server think that I cheat because I have about 1/2 the diamonds others have, and that means I cheat. The reasons they are accusing me of don't fit in with their arguments, but if users are bothering Owners that should be working on MC1, and coming to me about how I play on my unofficial server, there's obviously an issue. If its mine or others, I don't care, so I'm going to be the bigger man here and just go along with the bullshit that is running my server.

MC3 in general is pissing a lot of people off, and it turn its making my life 100x harder. I imagined MC3 being a fun factions server where faction fight to the death, and they over take each other, or beak away to fight some more. What its really turned into is who has the bigger dick, and if you think you can say I don't, then your obviously cheating in some way. I'm going to put the past behind, and just focus on keeping my server running and operational. I'm sorry it had to come to this, but peoples choices are ones they'll agree on, or ones they'll hate for the remainder of their time here. But that's what makes us human; the ability to see that we made mistakes in the past, and depending on our character, forgiving others for them or hating them even more.

All in all I don't know if MC3 is worth the challenge anymore. Constantly fighting with people I thought would side with me is wearing me down, and slowly making me turn into a hate-filled rage-machine. So I'm just going to stop. Sorry if I somehow made you think I cheated in the last month, by finding your base, or killing you, but thats how a faction server it. Get the fuck over it, or move on

It's one of these posts again.

I have a tonne of real life issues, exams, and other things to be doing, so I won't be around to play much Minecraft or do very much administration for Arcator at all in the coming months. MC3 Bug List:

Yep, and with limited errors this time too! So, nothings changed besides that version number. So same items, same ranks, same factions, and same skills. For now. But, there are a few things you should be aware of!

MC3 is running on a developmental build, so there MIGHT (most likely will) be some glitches or bugs. I can't help that, but I will make sure its using the most recent build to minimize bugs.

Mcmmo is updated, the repair bug is fixed. You can now enjoy Mcmmo with 100% less repair-level-boosting.

Note: As of 7:43 PM EST, the powers for Mcmmo aren't fixed. That is my top priority at the moment, and will be fixed as soon as possible.

If you find any bugs that you think are config-based issues, let me know in IRC, or in the comments. I'll try to fix them

Sadly, right after the first update, which has just been completed and I am going to remove the whitelist momentarily, we get 1.2.4. This will require a little longer; there are dev builds of CraftBukkit currently being made, yet no Beta or Recommended Builds, therefore we will have to wait for approximately 5 days (that's just a guess, don't quote me on it).

And MC3 is running on 1.2.3 as well!

Luckily, I have not upgraded yet, and thus will be hosting a 1.2.3 downgrade. You can download this (I believe) modless jar file, and get on the server. Download it by clicking the link here.

Mac Downgrade Tutorial

1. Download the jar
2. Open Finder
3. On the left sidebar, click your user (it should have a picture of a house next to it)
4. Follow the path "Library>Application Support>minecraft>bin"
5. Take the jar file you downloaded in step 1 and put it into your bin folder, replacing the current minecraft.jar
6. Enjoy Arcator!

Windows Downgrade Tutorial

1. Download the jar
2. Press the Start button
3. Click run and type "%APPDATA%" (no quotes)
4. Click .minecraft
5. Open the "bin" folder
6. Take the jar file you downloaded in step 1 and put it into your bin folder, replacing the current minecraft.jar
7. Enjoy Arcator!

EDIT: It's come to my attention MC3's Normal IP hasn't worked, so I'll be postponing the reset for 2 more days. It'll be reset Thursday. And so you guys can connect, here's my IP!

The time has come! MC3 will be updated, and as some of you know, the world will be reset. However, if you don't know, this is how it will go:

* I am going to give you 2 days to gather all the items you can fit in your inventory. You are keeping any items that are in your inventory at the time of reset. Remember: once the world is gone, it's gone!

* Next, you get to keep 2 mcMMO skill levels. You MUST comment on this post with the 2 skills that you want to keep AND YOUR RANK LEVEL. If you don't comment on THIS post, all your ranks will reset to 0.

* And finally, the map will be gone. This means that your faction land will be gone. I will TRY to keep factions, but there is no guarantee.

There is no begging me to keep the map. Tuesday night will be the end of MC3's World 1, and I might make in available for download if people want it. There are NO exceptions to the map reset time. If you don't get your stuff, it's your issue.

After an attempted update to support Minecraft 1.2.3, we've run into some problems. Some plugins just aren't updated:

* MCBans [Mission Critical. Can't run without this plugin]
* Multiverse [Provides multiworld and portals, we can run without it]
* CountryLoginMessage [Provides that nice login message, we can run without it]
* GeoIPTools [Provides functionality for the above]

The server is currently whitelisted to only staff members. The world is absolutely fine, but we cannot run safely without MCBans installed. For more information, visit IRC.
