What should MC3 be?
Ignore this, my server isn't coming back early, my laptop died on me so I need a machine to use myself. I will however use the results of this poll for the server when I put it up in October 
My server is coming back early!
I'm currently setting up my server again and need an idea for the type of server you guys want, because I'm only doing this early because you guys seem to be getting bored of MC1.
Vote for which type you wish me to host and the top vote will be put up!
I have had a conversation already on IRC that mentioned Faction Survival (Kyle's MC3 with slight changes) so that's my idea at the moment. But lets see what the overall choice is. 
I suggest a drug server. Pure survival got boring when the RPG server went up, as demonstrated by Josh's MC2 and my MC3. I was also planning on adding Factions to the RPG server, as per the request of quite a few people. We should do something totally new. Every server should be completely different.
MC1 is Creative, mine is Survival w/ Extras, yours could be Economy or Drug or Jail.
I suggest we add economy in the your server, It makes stuff much more interesting. Making a spawn shop to encourage players building near spawn or near other factions, allow free trade between servers to encourage allies and or tricks and dirty buisness.
As for kieraan's server... I dunno lol... I don't LOVE the idea of a drugs server but meh, it would require alot of prior work though.

By preparation I mean a map with cells and everything. Plus the guards and stuff. Altho I don't really know much of those kind of servers.

I think you're referring to a jail server. Drug servers are servers where farming crops are valued and can be sold in specific shops at high prices.
I vote for a server where everyone is a slave under one dictator. (Which of course will be me).

Here are some things you'd want to take into account:
Faction and Drug servers need a big playerbase. (I have tonnes of experience with both)
If you're making one of them you'll need to set a reasonably small border, (using this plugin http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/mech-borderguard-v4-31-1-most-efficient-map-limiter-1-2-5-r1.3078/) I'd say at most 1000 in each direction.
If you're going for a faction server I highly suggest economy where you can use /buy and /sell.
Pure Survival and Economy Survival would be a bit boring so I'd suggest one of the following:
Faction server with BorderLands and Economy
Drug Server with BorderLands and a big drug marketing sytem (I can explain the whole thing if you want me to)
A Jail Server which is fairly straightforward but it will take a long time to get the actual jail built.
P.S I know very well run Jail, Drug and Faction servers so if whoever is configuring the stuff/making the map wants to see some other servers design's ask me
P.P.S I really don't like Tekkit, it makes it so it's more awkward to play and it's just plain minecraft with a bit of a twist

The server should be a single block in the void or a Event Server for games and what not

I vote no to this, because you can't just come on and play whenever you want. You need to plan a time to play.

I saw at the end of the factions most people joined the two powerful teams.This way even one (very skilled) player can take down a kingdom.Plus my B to the A nana if something does not work, I'm sure your brain could solve for a solution in sec. or who'eva. <3 love you guys.

You need to make a team, and find another team that will race you to build a castle and then fight. Also, this would not work for a server because we need to keep the same rank system of Default<Trusted<Architect<Donator<Mod<Admin<Admin+<Owner. A "castle server" would require a different hierarchy.

(1) It's not a good idea because of the above mentioned facts (you need to make a team and you can't just jump on and play whenever you want), (2) I am annoyed with the names, but that's not why I dislike the idea, (3) who are you?
